Parks & Recreation Commission - Aug 6, 2026
The parking lot project is running behind schedule, squeezing parking during the busy summer pool season. The contract has penalty clauses and calendar-day deadlines, and staff are pressing the contractor daily.
Library Board - Jul 20, 2026
The west phase of the parking lot project hasn't started yet despite being scheduled. Once it begins, both ends of the lot will close at times — no drive-through access, though the library doors stay open. The entrance will also close briefly for regrading to fix winter ice pooling.
Library Board - Jun 15, 2026
The parking lot resurfacing project has closed the library's north entrance through roughly July 2, complicating access during the busy summer lunch program. Drainage and icing problems at the main entrance will also be fixed, requiring a future entrance closure.
Parks & Recreation Commission - Jun 4, 2026
The east and west parking lots at the community center are being rebuilt in four phases through the summer, with entrances closing and shifting as work moves along. Parking will be tight on hot pool days, so walking or biking is encouraged.
