Data center development concerns

A county resident on Laudeville Road said a data center near her home would crater her property value, threaten her well water, and cited cancer deaths on her road she attributes to power infrastructure — urging the council to consider rural residents' needs.

A second county resident asked the council 'what do you value — money or good health,' warning data centers could permanently change the community, strain water and electricity, and erode farmland and quiet country living.
