Edgewood Pointe redevelopment

Urged the council to table the Transamerica site development, citing traffic at 42nd/Edgewood, school traffic from five schools, stormwater, and the lack of a full plan for existing neighborhoods.

Called the developer a slumlord and opposed giving tax incentives at taxpayers' expense, particularly the gas station planned at a residential corner; cited stormwater pollution risk and light pollution.

Asked the city to preserve or replace the trees and ponds on the undeveloped parcel and to keep development traffic on Edgewood rather than residential 42nd Street.
